Big things from small beginnings

Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do

The provision is outstanding. This aspect of the provision is of exceptionally high quality. Children are offered an excellent range of exciting learning experiences in the setting and thoroughly enjoy their time with the childminder. They are very confident and very independent and develop high self-esteem.

Helping children to be healthy

The provision is good. This aspect of the provision is strong Children are well nourished with healthy meals and drinks within reach at all times. Children's health is protected because there is a clear sickness policy regarding the care of children who are unwell and the childminder holds parental permission to seek any necessary emergency medical advice or treatment.

Protecting children from harm or neglect and helping them stay safe

The provision is good. This aspect of the provision is strong

Children are cared for in a setting that is well-maintained and safe. The childminder is vigilant about the security of the children. Children learn to keep themselves safe.

Helping children make a positive contribution

The provision is good.  This aspect of the provision is strong

Children feel secure and settled as they are welcomed into the family environment. They behave very well due to the childminder's consistent and skilled approach in promoting positive behaviour. The partnership with parents and carers is good.
