Big things from small beginnings

Activities 

A variety of activities will be carried out during the day depending on the age of the children in my care. These include colouring, reading, baking, painting, music, puzzles, dressing up, play doh, construction toys and various craft activities and outdoor play. I have a variety of toys and a trampoline and swings in the garden. In the summer we have out the paddling pool. All outdoor activities are closely supervised. Most evenings I will try and hear the children read their school books or practice their words. 

I try to take children to toddler groups, the library, beach, Rayleigh Mount, local woods and soft play centres depending on children’s ages . All activities are planned to met the EYFS requirements. Even in the winter we will go out places as I feel physical exercise is also important for children.
